Juan Marulanda

Juan Marulanda is a skilled computational scientist and research engineer with extensive experience in data science, machine learning applications, and autonomous systems. Currently serving as the Complex Scattering-DSSI Team Coordinator and a member of the research staff at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Juan focuses on data engineering and machine learning for quantum computing research. Previous roles include research positions at the University of Idaho and Universidad del Valle, where projects involved AI applications for autonomous underwater vehicles and energy management optimization. Juan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Idaho, along with a master's degree in the same field and a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad del Valle.
