Kathy Schwager

Ecologist, Prescribed Fire Program Manager at Brookhaven National Laboratory

Kathy Schwager is an experienced ecologist currently serving as the Prescribed Fire Program Manager at Brookhaven National Laboratory since December 2010, overseeing the inventory and monitoring of wildland fuels and developing prescribed burn plans. Prior to this role, Kathy worked as an Invasive Species Ecologist at The Nature Conservancy, where directorship of the Long Island Invasive Species Management Area involved developing grant proposals for funding.
