Jade Arn

Jade Arn has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations and positions. Jade is currently serving as the Director of Engagement at the Brookings Institution since January 2022. Prior to this role, Jade was the Associate Director of Regional Engagements at Brookings Metro from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining the Brookings Institution, Jade worked at CAEL, where they held various positions related to workforce and economic development. Jade was the Senior Director of Workforce and Economic Development from July to December 2019 and the Director from June 2018 to July 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Consultant from April 2015 to June 2018, the Program Manager from November 2014 to March 2015, and the Government Affairs Coordinator from May 2014 to October 2014.

Jade also has experience working at Coastal Counties Workforce, Inc. as the Senior Program Manager from January to May 2014. Jade previously held the position of Program/Grant Manager from August 2011 to January 2014 and the WorkReady Project Manager from January 2010 to August 2011.

In addition to these roles, Jade has worked at Goodwill Industries of Northern New England as the WorkReady Program Coordinator from March 2008 to January 2010 and the Youth Outreach Coordinator from November 2006 to March 2008. Jade also served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA at the Maine Commission for Community Service from October 2005 to November 2006 and at the Waldo County Emergency Management Agency from September 2004 to October 2005.

Through their various positions, Jade has gained extensive experience in engagement, workforce and economic development, program management, and volunteer management.

Jade Arn holds a Master of Science degree in Project Management with a concentration in Organizational Communication from Northeastern University. Jade obtained this degree between the years 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended the University of Maine at Augusta, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, from 1999 to 2001, they completed an Associate's degree in Social Services at the same university.
