Madeleine Walshak

Madeleine Walshak serves as the Senior Communications Manager at The Brookings Institution since March 2023, previously holding the role of Communications Manager. Prior to this, Madeleine worked as Communications Project Coordinator at the NDC Partnership from April 2021 to March 2023 and held similar positions at the World Resources Institute. Madeleine's earlier experience includes serving as an Education & Outreach Specialist at the Edwards Aquifer Authority and participating in various roles at the Texas Butterfly Ranch. Madeleine began professional development with an internship at the Edwards Aquifer Authority, followed by roles at Trinity University, where Madeleine earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Economics and Environmental Policy in 2020.
