Rachel Shechtman is a seasoned entrepreneur and retail leader with a diverse career spanning various roles and companies. Currently serving as Entrepreneur In Residence at Brooklyn Museum since October 2022 and a board member of CAMP since December 2018, Rachel's notable past experience includes Chief Brand Experience Officer at Macy's, where responsibilities involved innovative retail strategies and launching STORY in multiple locations. Rachel founded STORY, an experiential retail concept acquired by Macy's in 2018, and led Cube Ventures Consulting as Founder and CEO, guiding brands such as TOMS and Gilt Groupe. Additionally, Rachel has held strategic partnership roles at TOMS, Gilt.com, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America. An accomplished Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute, Rachel holds a degree in Economics from Colorado College.
