Kaitlyn MacDonald

Kaitlyn MacDonald has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Kaitlyn started their career as an Intern at the Agricultural Land Reform Office, Thai Ministry of Agriculture, where they conducted a study on the aging of Thai farmers and their retention strategies. Kaitlyn then worked as a Student Researcher at the Land Policy Institute, followed by a role as a Chatteris Native English Teacher at the Chatteris Educational Foundation, where they designed and delivered daily activities for students.

Later, Kaitlyn joined Michigan State University as a Research Assistant and then worked as a Support Officer at the State Control Centre, where they provided administrative support and ensured effective communication flows during emergency responses.

Moving on, Kaitlyn worked at the Australian Red Cross as a Program Officer, focusing on Monitoring and Evaluation, where they managed program reporting and facilitated the sharing of best practices and lessons learned. Kaitlyn then joined the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency as a Program Officer, specializing in information management.

Currently, Kaitlyn is working at the Brotherhood of St Laurence, initially as a Data and Reporting Analyst, then as a Senior Program Officer focusing on Monitoring and Learning, and currently serving as the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Lead.
