Shane Salter

Shane Salter is an experienced education professional currently employed at Broward County Public Schools since March 2020, following a role as Executive Director for March of Dimes from May 2017 to January 2020. With a diverse background that includes serving as Adjunct Faculty at Tufts University and Brand Ambassador for the Charlotte Hornets, Shane has developed competency-based educational programs and facilitated training for employees. Previous experience encompasses leadership positions such as Executive Director/CEO at CASA DC, Chief of Staff in the DC Government, Director at Freddie Mac Foundation, and National Director for the Marriott Foundation, showcasing a strong commitment to youth advocacy and community development. Shane holds a Master of Arts in Management & Organizational Leadership from Webster University and a BS in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University, complemented by an AAS in Health & Human Services from Elmira College.
