Chanaka Chandrasekaera

Chanaka Chandrasekaera has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chanaka began their career at Damro Furniture Australia as a Customer Service Assistant from April 2008 to August 2010. Chanaka then worked at Coles as a Duty Manager, responsible for managing the store and providing excellent customer service from February 2009 to March 2012. Following that, they joined RM&C Associates as a Bookkeeper, where they gained experience in various accounting tasks and worked with MYOB from September 2011 to March 2012. Chanaka then joined Raindrop Tea (Pvt) Ltd as an Assistant Management Accountant, assisting in business strategies and implementing cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and purchasing from August 2012 till now. Currently, Chanaka is the Head of Operations at Brown & Company PLC, where they utilize their extensive experience to oversee operations, drive business development, and manage product management.

Chanaka Chandrasekaera has a diverse education history. In 2000 to 2005, they attended Nalanda College and achieved a General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level). Following this, from 2005 to 2006, they studied at the American Collage of Higher Education and obtained a Diploma in Accounting and Organizational Management, focusing on accounting and business management. In 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Accounting at Swinburne University of Technology, specializing in accounting. In 2010 to 2011, Chanaka attended Deakin University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a concentration in accounting. In 2013 to 2014, they enrolled in multiple programs simultaneously, including the Certified Management Accountant Australia, where they studied finance and financial management services, and The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, where they completed the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) program, specializing in accounting and finance. Lastly, from 2017 to 2019, Chanaka pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Anglia Ruskin University, focusing on business administration and management.
