Eileen Hren Citron has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Eileen began their career as a Program Assistant at Search for Common Ground in 1999, followed by a role as an Assistant Project Administrator at Chemonics International in 2000. Eileen then worked as a Public Relations Officer at the Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group from 2001 to 2002, and as a Business Development Coordinator at Massar Associates in 2002-2003.
In 2004, Eileen joined Boeing as an Office Administrator, where they worked until 2008. Eileen then transitioned into the legal field, joining Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in 2009. During their time at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Eileen held various roles, including Associate in Complex Commercial Litigation from 2009 to 2014, and Associate in White Collar Defense & Investigations from 2014 to 2019. From 2020 to 2022, they served as Counsel, overseeing and directing investigations on securities fraud, accounting irregularities, and other white-collar crimes. Eileen's work also involved advising clients on compliance with data privacy laws and assisting with transactions subject to review by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Currently, Eileen holds the position of Counsel in White Collar Defense, Investigations & Compliance at Brown Rudnick LLP, starting in 2023.
Eileen Hren Citron obtained their Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from The George Washington University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Later, they pursued higher education at The George Washington University Law School, completing their Doctor of Law (JD) between 2005 and 2008.
