Sorell Negro has extensive work experience in the legal field, specializing in real estate law. In their most recent role as Real Estate Counsel at Brown Rudnick LLP since July 2022, Sorell provides legal counsel to large institutional clients on various real estate matters, including development projects, zoning, permitting, leasing, and environmental compliance. They also ensure that projects align with clients' sustainability and environmental responsibility goals.

Prior to their current position, Sorell held several roles at Royal Caribbean Group, including Senior Director, Associate Counsel from March 2022 to July 2022, and Director - Associate Counsel/Real Estate from January 2018 to March 2022. In these roles, Sorell provided legal guidance and support in the area of real estate.

Before joining Royal Caribbean Group, Sorell worked as a Lawyer at Robinson & Cole LLP from September 2011 to January 2018. They also served as a Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of CA from September 2010 to August 2011.

Sorell gained valuable legal experience early in their career through various summer associate positions. They worked at Dechert LLP in 2009, Robinson & Cole LLP in 2009, and Dechert LLP again in 2008.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Sorell worked as a Paralegal at Buckley Sandler LLP from May 2006 to July 2007 and at Meyer, Klipper & Mohr PLLC from August 2004 to August 2005.

Sorell Negro attended Georgetown University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Foreign Service. Sorell then pursued further education at Cornell Law School from 2007 to 2010, obtaining a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
