Josephine Hostin

Josephine Hostin is an experienced professional in UI/UX website design and entrepreneurship, currently serving at Lifespan since February 2023 and as an advisor and co-director of Startup@Brown at Brown University since October 2020. Josephine has managed substantial budgets, hosted influential figures, and directed teams to support startup launches, while also coordinating major networking conferences. With research experience in biostatistics and marketing roles at Capitolis and Castillo Games, contributions include co-authoring a textbook adaptation for children and developing interactive educational platforms. Josephine's leadership experience is further demonstrated through presidencies and co-founding initiatives at the National Honor Society and Shelton School's first Literary Magazine. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Organizational Business from Brown University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
