Ashish K. Jha

Dean, School of Public Health at Brown University

Ashish K. Jha is the current Dean of the School of Public Health at Brown University. Ashish has served in this role since August 2020. Prior to their current position, Jha was the Faculty Director of the Harvard Global Health Institute from August 2014 to August 2020. Ashish also served as a Senior Advisor for Quality and Safety at the Department of Veterans Affairs from July 2007 to December 2012. In addition, Jha has been a Professor at Harvard Medical School since January 2013 and held the position of K. T. Li Professor of Global Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from January 2013 to August 2020. Ashish was also an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School from January 2004 to December 2012 and at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from January 2004 to December 2012. Prior to their time at Harvard, Jha was a Research Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital from January 2002 to December 2004.
