Francie Emlen

Francie Emlen, MBA, RN, currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at Brown University since August 2022. Previously, Francie held roles including Assistant Dean of Research Administration and Strategic Initiatives at Alula and Head of Clinical Strategy and Operations at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where oversight of Oncology operations was a significant responsibility. Earlier positions include Oncology Service Line Director at Mount Sinai Health System, Director of Training Innovation and Workforce Development at ComplexCare Solutions, and Manager of Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement, among others. Francie began the nursing career as a Clinical Nurse at New York University and has also worked as a Staff/Charge Nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Francie earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BSN from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in leadership, change management, and strategy.
