Lucas Bear

Lucas Bear is an undergraduate student at Brown University pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Design, with a graduation date set for May 2027. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Engineering Statics and Dynamics at Brown University School of Engineering, Lucas is responsible for grading assignments and supporting students in their learning journey. Additionally, Lucas facilitates workshops for the BTEAM initiative, focusing on socialization and privilege concerning gender. Previous experience includes roles as a Public Education Specialist at the Lawrence Hall of Science, where Lucas instructed teens in Civil Engineering and Bio-inspired Design, and as a Camp Counselor at various organizations, engaging younger children in sports and activities. Other professional experiences include a Catering Assistant position at Grace Street Catering, demonstrating strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
