Maria Stringfellow

Maria Stringfellow is a seasoned fundraising and donor engagement professional with extensive experience in higher education and non-profit management. Currently serving as the Senior Leadership Gift Officer for the NYC Region at Brown University since November 2023, Maria previously held the role of Associate Director of Donor Engagement at Stony Brook University and Assistant Director of Major Gifts at Northwestern University. Maria's earlier experience includes working as a RISD Fund Officer at the Rhode Island School of Design and a Supervisor at Boys Town, where responsibilities included program outreach, staff training, and crisis intervention. Maria holds a Master's degree in Human Services with a focus on Non-Profit Management from Bellevue University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College.
