Norm Meyrowitz

Norm Meyrowitz is an accomplished academic and technology leader with extensive experience in the field of computer science. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of the Practice of Computer Science at Brown University since January 2020, Norm has a strong foundation in research and education, having co-founded the Institute for Research in Information and Scholarship (IRIS) at Brown and worked as a research scientist in the Department of Computer Science for nearly a decade. Norm's prior industry roles include leadership positions at Macromedia, Inc. as President of Products/Ventures and Director of Advanced Technology, as well as serving as Director of Advanced Technology at Go Corporation. Norm holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brown University, earned in 1981.
