Nicola Evans

Nicola Evans is a partner in the Health Advisory and Inquest Team at Browne Jacobson LLP, with extensive experience in legal services for the health sector. Since September 2019, Evans has been providing specialist legal advice and representation to NHS Trusts in complex Coroner’s inquests. Prior to this role, Evans served as Associate Director of Legal Services at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS FT following the merger of Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where Evans held the position of Head of Legal Services. Career history also includes roles as Senior Solicitor at Weightmans and Freeths LLP, focusing on public sector legal matters and clinical negligence claims, respectively. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Leadership in Health and Social Care from the University of Birmingham, along with legal qualifications from BPP and Nottingham Law School.
