Alina Morar

Alina Morar has been working in the fashion industry since 2010. Alina began their career as an Assistant Designer Intern at A.F.VANDEVORST, then moved on to become a Fashion Designer at the same company. In 2016, they became a Visiting Lecturer at MODESIGN Academy, followed by a role as Womenswear Senior Designer and Head designer - Raw Research at G-Star RAW from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, they became a Lecturer Fashion & Design and Coordinator Year 2 - Fashion & Design at Amsterdam Fashion Institute, and currently holds a role as a Freelance 3D designer at Browzwear.

Alina Morar has a diverse educational background. Alina obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design and Prints from the University of Art and Design in Cluj Napoca, Transylvania in 2008. In 2016, they earned a Master's Degree in Filmstudies and Visual Culture from the University of Antwerp. In 2007, they completed a visual research focused on contemporary art using textile at the University of Dundee in Scotland, UK. In addition, they have obtained a Foundation qualification in didactic competence from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in July 2022 and Certificates of Completion in VStitcher 201 and 101 Foundations from Browzwear in April and February 2021, respectively.
