Janie McDermott

Janie McDermott is currently the Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Principal at BRPH. Janie has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and has held a variety of positions in both the private and public sector. Prior to their current role, Janie was the Human Resources Business Partner at Harris Corporation from November 2011 to May 2012. In this role, they were responsible for meeting with potential clients to identify their benefit needs, educating them on available products, and recommending a portfolio of benefits for purchase. Janie also provided customer service to existing clients that encountered problems with their insurance programs.

Before their time at Harris Corporation, Janie was a Licensed Insurance Agent at Insphere Insurance Solutions from August 2009 to November 2011. In this role, they were responsible for meeting with potential clients to identify their benefit needs, educating them on available products, and recommending a portfolio of benefits for purchase. Janie also provided customer service to existing clients that encountered problems with their insurance programs.

Janie has also held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at BRPH Companies, Inc. and Deputy Project Manager at Johnson Controls World Services Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Janie has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Hayward and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
