Neil Young has over 20 years of experience in various HR roles. Neil most recently served as HR Director at Bruton Knowles, where they established partnerships between HR and all areas of the firm to support staff and meet organizational objectives. Prior to this, they worked as an HR Consultant at Ageas Insurance Limited, overseeing HR operations and recruitment for the Claims department. Neil also served as an HR Partner at University College Dublin, where they provided support and guidance to senior managers on strategic HR initiatives. Before that, they held the position of HR Business Manager - Retail at The Midcounties Co-operative, where they were responsible for managing HR operations and strategies for a client base of 8,000 employees across 350 stores. Neil began their career as a Graduate Management Trainee at Sainsburys Supermarkets Ltd and was later promoted to HR Manager. Throughout their career, Neil has demonstrated expertise in employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, and staff engagement.
Neil Young, BA (Hons), MA, Chartered Fellow CIPD, has a comprehensive education history. Neil earned a Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance from the University of Gloucestershire in 1995. From 1995 to 1998, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Business Management and Human Resource Management from the same institution. Later, in 2002-2003, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from the University of Gloucestershire.
In 2003, they completed the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development program at the University of Gloucestershire. In 2004-2005, they pursued a Management Diploma from the Chartered Management Institute. Neil further expanded their qualifications by completing a Master of Arts degree in Management of Human Resources from the University of Gloucestershire in 2007-2008.
During their educational journey, they engaged in various additional programs to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2008, they attended a Leadership Programme at Cranfield University. In 2009, they completed a Professional Coaching Programme at University College Dublin. Additionally, in 2012, they participated in the Facilitation and Mediation Programme at University College Dublin.
