David Schoning

Dave Schoning is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in various sectors, including assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, commercial, retail, and residential design. Currently serving as a Project Architect at BSB Design since March 2021, Dave also holds the position of President at David Schoning Design LLC, which Dave established in July 2013. Previous roles include Senior Architect at ML Group Design & Development, Director of Architecture & Design at Michael Raymond Construction, and Project Architect at Gleason Architects. Early in their career, Dave worked as a Project Manager at Balsamo Olson & Lewis and as an Intern Architect at Healy Bender & Associates. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1998.
