Dagmara Makarski

Dagmara Makarski has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Dagmara is the founder and co-owner of DAGMA Inc., a Business Management Consulting firm, where they serve as the Technical Director. In this role, they offer auditing, consulting, and training services to organizations in aerospace and other industries. Dagmara specializes in implementing management system standards to help organizations reach their full business potential.

Dagmara has also worked as an Aerospace Lead Auditor at BSI since 2017 and as a QMS Lead Auditor at CWB Group - QUASAR Registrar from 2016 to 2018. At Designed Precision Castings Inc., they served as the Aerospace Quality Manager, responsible for transitioning the Quality Management System to AS9100D. Dagmara focused on process optimization, continuous improvement, and ensuring product quality.

Prior to their consulting work, Dagmara worked at ULA-Matic Inc. as a Control Systems Engineer and Quality Manager, where they designed custom machinery, oversaw electrical machine build, and performed PLC programming. Dagmara also worked as a Process Analyst at SatiStar Management Consulting from 2013 to 2015.

Earlier in their career, Dagmara worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Pratt & Whitney and as a Research Analyst at Honeywell.

Dagmara Makarski obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Toronto, from 2005 to 2007. Dagmara also holds a High School Diploma from the Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute, with a focus on the TOPS Programme (Talented Offerings for Programmes in Sciences). In addition, they have a certification as a QMS Lead Auditor from Exemplar Global, Inc.
