Pietro Foschi

Pietro Foschi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Pietro started their career in 1988 as a Research Engineer at TECHFEM. Pietro later worked at Halliburton as a Project Engineer from 1989 to 1991. In 1993, they joined Oliver Wyman as a Strategy & Organization Consultant. Pietro joined Bureau Veritas in 2000 and held several leadership positions, including Vice President Strategy, Vice President Certification Services, President and CEO of Bureau Veritas Italy, and Senior Vice President Global Business Lines. Pietro also served as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Bureau Veritas from 2013 to 2014. Since 2014, Pietro has been associated with BSI, where they held roles such as Group Director for Strategic Delivery, Global System Certification, Marketing, and Group Executive Director for Assurance Services.

Pietro Foschi completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from SDA Bocconi in 1991 and from HEC Paris (ISA, Institut Supérieur des Affaires) in 1992. In 2014, they participated in a course on corporate governance best practices for non-executive directors from IFA (Institut Français des Administrateurs) & HEC. Pietro also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche, which they obtained between 1983 and 1988. Additionally, they received a classical high school diploma (Maturita' Classica) from Liceo Classico Italy in 1983. Pietro Foschi has obtained additional certifications including the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma from FT Board Director Programme and the Esame di Stato (Chartered Engineer) with a grade of 140/140 in 1989.
