Axel Kotulla

Axel Kotulla has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Axel is currently serving as the Chief Customer Officer Insurance at msg since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Head of ABS Special Projects / Platform Steering at Allianz Technology from October 2019 to December 2022. Axel also worked as the Executive Director Business Unit Insurance at Syncier from February 2019 to December 2022. Furthermore, they served as the Abteilungsleiter at Allianz Group from February 2016 to September 2019.

Before Allianz Group, Axel worked at msg systems ag for a significant period, where they held the positions of Senior Vice President from January 2010 to January 2016, and Principal Project Lead from February 2008 to November 2010. Prior to this, they worked at entero AG as a Partner and CIO/CTO from July 2001 to January 2008. Axel also has experience as the Chief Operating Officer at Brinell City AG from February 2000 to June 2001, and as a Manager at Accenture from October 1993 to January 2000.

Axel Kotulla attended RWTH Aachen University from 1987 to 1993. During this time, they pursued a degree in Computer-Softwaretechnik and Informatik, earning a Diplom.
