Nikolaos Vergoulidis

Nikolaos Vergoulidis is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, alongside conducting an MSc thesis on enzyme discovery and engineering through metagenomic sequence analysis at BSRC Alexander Fleming since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in various institutions, with roles at Attikon Hospital focusing on molecular control and clinical microbiology, and at iNurse, Douni Maria, and Microcheck performing blood collection, sample analysis, and management of medical data. Prior to those roles, Nikolaos worked at BIOTYPOS providing home healthcare services, including blood sampling and PCR COVID-19 test sample collection. Additionally, participation in the CIVIS Blended Intensive Program at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid centered on experimental models in molecular biomedicine was completed between January and July 2023.
