Dr. Carol Nwelue (She/Her)

Dr. Carol Nwelue has a strong background in healthcare leadership. Dr. Carol worked as an Executive at Advantage HCS in 2023. Prior to that, she served as a Medical Director at Baylor Scott & White Health starting in 2020. From 2018 to 2020, she worked as a Medical Director at BJC HealthCare. Dr. Nwelue also held the position of Executive Medical Director at Sparrow Health System from 2012 to 2018.

Dr. Carol Nwelue received her Doctor of Medicine degree in Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch in 2009. Dr. Carol completed her undergraduate studies at Austin College from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, she attended Southern Methodist University in 2001-2002. In 2009-2010, she also attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
