Stephen McKnight has a strong background in facilities management. Stephen started their career as a Facilities Engineer at Kaiser Permanente in 2005 and worked their way up to Chief Engineer and then Area Director of Facilities Services. In 2014, they became the Director of Facilities Services at Kaiser Permanente and held that role until 2020. Stephen then joined Baylor Scott & White Health as a Facilities Operations Director in 2020. Currently, they are the Region Facilities Services Director at CBRE, starting in 2021.
Stephen McKnight earned an Associate's degree in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration from Riverside City College in 2010-2013. Stephen then pursued another Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same college from 2013-2016. Stephen later obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Business Analytics from Grand Canyon University in 2017-2019. In addition to their educational achievements, they hold certifications such as the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) from the American Hospital Association, 608 certification from the EPA, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from AEE SoCal: Association of Energy Engineers - Southern California Chapter, and a Steam Operator License from the City of Los Angeles.
