Manuel Echeverria Cusi

Manuel Echeverria Cusi has extensive work experience in various legal roles. Manuel served as Head of Legal Affairs at BTF Media starting in 2019. Prior to that, they co-founded Innovando en Servicios para Startups, S.C. in 2017, where they held the role of Co-Founder - Legal. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores, first as Director General Adjunto de Instituciones de Tecnologia Financiera B and later as Ex - Deputy Director General for Fintech Authorizations. Before that, they were an Abogado at Ideas & Capital from 2017 to 2018. Manuel also gained experience as an Ejecutivo Jurídico Senior at Fideicomiso de Capital Emprendedor from 2014 to 2016. Manuel started their career as an Associate at JONES DAY® in 2008, specializing in M&A and Banking.

Manuel Echeverria Cusi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Law from Universidad Anáhuac, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In 2016 and 2017, they pursued an LLM in Innovation, Technology, and the Law at the University of Edinburgh Law School. Manuel Echeverria Cusi is also an alumni of the Chevening Awards, specializing in LLM in Innovation, Technology, and Law.
