Kristina Baxanova

Kristina Baxanova, PhD began their work experience in 1995 as a reporter for Standart News Ltd. Kristina then joined NTV, NOVA Broadcasting Group / Modern Times Group in 1997 as a reporter until 2000. Following this, they worked at bTV Media Group EAD, starting in 2000 as a reporter and news anchor, and later became the Head of International News Desk in November 2016.

Kristina Baxanova, PhD, completed their education in a chronological manner. Kristina began their academic journey at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Foreign Affairs from 1994 to 1999. Afterward, they furthered their studies at Freie Universität Berlin, where they participated in the European Journalism Fellowship program in 2004 and 2005. Finally, Kristina returned to Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in International Relations and Affairs/Communication and Media Studies, which they successfully completed from 2014 to 2018.
