Austin Vining

Austin Vining is an attorney specializing in intellectual property, media law, and First Amendment counseling and litigation. They are currently an intellectual property and media law attorney at Buchalter and have served as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida since 2017. Vining earned a Ph.D. in media law and has published seven law journal articles, receiving national top-prize awards for their research. Previously, they worked as a journalist and contributed as a legal intern at the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Vining has also held roles as a graduate research fellow and a law clerk, highlighting a diverse background in both media and legal fields.
