Felicia Chavez's work experience spans over several years. In 2006, they worked at MCS as an AST, where they managed contracts and edited materials for workshops and a book manuscript. From 2008 to 2010, Felicia served as a Sustainability Consultant at iReuse, a company that started as a furniture exchange platform but later expanded to include sustainability consulting. In 2015, they founded Life Like Honey, a website providing resources for individuals seeking personal sustainability. In 2017, Felicia joined Systems Thinking Marin as the Director, where they promoted a systems approach and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Marin County. Currently, Felicia is the Chief of Staff at the Buckminster Fuller Institute, a position they assumed in 2021.
Felicia Chavez earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Dominican University of California between 1995 and 1999. Felicia then pursued a Green MBA at New College of California from 2005 to 2007, with a focus on Sustainable Enterprise. Lastly, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mythology with a Depth Psychology Focus at Pacifica Graduate Institute from 2011 to 2017.
