Thomas Persson

Thomas Persson has extensive work experience in the heavy lift crane industry. Thomas started their career as a crane operator at Ralling AB in 1991 and worked there until 2000. Thomas then founded their own crane rental company, TP Kranar AB, where they served as the Managing Director for 11 years. At TP Kranar AB, they managed a team of 55 employees and handled all aspects of the business, including projects, sales, purchasing, and finance. Thomas joined Mammoet USA/ Mammoet DK in 2011 as a Senior Sales Manager, where they sold onshore and offshore wind projects, managed customer contracts, and handled project calculations and quotes. In 2016, they joined KranWind LLC as a Senior Sales Manager, where they focused on selling wind projects and renting out crawler cranes. Thomas also played a key role in starting up the company. Thomas then moved on to Roll Group in 2018, working as a Senior Sales Manager until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of International Sales at Buckner HeavyLift Cranes, a role they have been in since August 2020. Overall, Thomas Persson has demonstrated strong sales and managerial skills throughout their career in the crane industry.

Thomas Persson completed a contract management program in 2014, focusing on contracting. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1988, they pursued a field of study in economics at Svalöv Gymnasium, but did not obtain a degree.
