Shelby Fernandes

Shelby Fernandes is the current Chief Operating Officer at BuddyBoss. Prior to this, Shelby was a Senior Project Manager at eSSENTIAL Accessibility from July 2019 to August 2020. In this role, Shelby was responsible for directing, strategizing and managing learning solutions for clients such as Citibank, National Geographic, Hydro One, Walmart, Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Bank of Montreal and more. Shelby excels in conceptualizing, production and delivery of benchmark products ranging from online, virtual, classroom based as well as blended learning + gamification to optimise on end user experience.

Shelby has also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Forsman & Bodenfors from July 2017 to July 2019 where they specialized in transforming raw content into engaging and interactive modules, apps and games to create a massive virtual library of re-usable products, tools, functionalities and off the shelf web packages. Shelby has also integrated innovative marketing channels such as CRM, Analytics and Social Media to Web and Learning concepts, thereby creating a hybrid solution that uses various communication channels to tap into user space and create a 360 engagement experience.

Before joining Forsman & Bodenfors, Shelby worked as a Project Manager at Klick from August 2014 to July 2017.

Shelby Fernandes completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda, India. Shelby also has a High School diploma in Science from Rosary High School.

They are on a team with Michael Eisenwasser - Co-Founder, CTO, Mike Young - Product Manager, and Jason Broderick - Marketing Manager. Their manager is Tom Cheddadi, Co-founder, CEO.
