Steve Hillmer

Steve Hillmer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business intelligence and strategy, retiring from a noteworthy career in February 2023. Hillmer served as the Director of Business Intelligence at John Hancock Financial Services, where key contributions included establishing and managing the data and analytics delivery team and executing a comprehensive BI strategy. Prior to that, Hillmer took time off to be with a newborn son and held significant roles at RBC Royal Bank, including Senior Manager of Strategy & Optimization and Senior Manager of Business Intelligence Solutions, focusing on strategic technology direction and the development of decision-making tools. Hillmer's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from McMaster University.
