Joe MicCa

Rehabilitation Coordinator, Physical Therapist at Buffalo Bills

Joe MicCa is currently the Rehabilitation Coordinator and Physical Therapist for the Buffalo Bills. Joe has always been interested in sports and helping people, so becoming a physical therapist was a natural fit. After completing their undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University, Joe worked as a Sports Physical Therapist for the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC. During this time, they also served as Adjunct Faculty for the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. In January 2013, Joe began a student physical therapy residency at the Cleveland Clinic Sports Health Center. Joe then went on to work as a Sports Physical Therapy Resident for the Pittsburgh Steelers from March 2014 to April 2015. Joe is excited to be back with the Buffalo Bills and to help the team in any way they can.

Joe MicCa has a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from John Carroll University. Joe also has a Sports Physical Therapy Residency from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from State University of New York Upstate Medical University.

They are on a team with Denny Kellington - Assistant Athletic Trainer, Tabani Richards - Assistant Athletic Trainer. Joe MicCa reports to Nate Breske, Head Athletic Trainer.
