Matt Bazirgan

Director of College Scouting at Buffalo Bills

Matt Bazirgan is the Senior Personnel Executive at the Buffalo Bills. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director of Player Personnel for the Houston Texans from May 2018 to May 2022. There, they covered primary colleges in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Matt also crosschecked in Texas, Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Louisiana.

From January 2005 to December 2005, Matt was a Scout for the National Football League (NFL). And from June 2004 to May 2018, they were the Director of College Scouting for the New York Jets. There they covered primary states of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Maryland, West Virginia, and North Carolina.

Before their time in the NFL, Matt was a Graduate Assistant Football Coach at Springfield College from August 2002 to June 2004. Matt got their start as an Intern Football Coach at Bates College from August 2001 to January 2002.

Matt Bazirgan has a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College and a Masters in Sport Management from Springfield College.
