Laura Spilman O'Connell

Laura Spilman O'Connell has over a decade of experience in marketing and donor relations, currently serving as the Lead Marketing & Donor Relations Coordinator at Buffalo City Mission since May 2010. In this role, Laura assists with creative content development, ensures marketing materials align with organizational branding, and collaborates with vendors for appeal releases. Previously, as Donor Relations and Communication Specialist at the same organization, Laura managed a donor database of over 500 active contributors, created marketing materials, and facilitated fundraising efforts. Laura's earlier experience includes working as a Marketing Assistant at First Trinity Lutheran Church, where tasks involved preparing worship services and designing weekly bulletins. Laura holds a B.A. in English and Anthropology from the University of Rochester, completed in 2006.
