Cole Burkhalter

Director, Team Operations at Buffalo Sabres

Cole Burkhalter is the current Director of Team Operations at the Buffalo Sabres. Prior to this, they were with the Boston Bruins from September 2011 to September 2013 as an Assistant to Hockey Administration. Cole also worked with USA Hockey from August 2010 to August 2011 as the Brendan Burke Intern (Hockey Operations). In this role, they facilitated the day to day operations within the International Department of USA Hockey. Cole was also a Team Leader for U20 USA World Junior Team (Bronze Medal), overseeing daily itineraries and making adjustments as needed. Additionally, they were part of the Hockey Operations Staff for the USA Men’s World Championship Team in Slovakia and maintained weekly statistics on U20 eligible players which they distributed to coaching staff members.

From September 2015 to January 2017, Cole served as Director of Hockey Development for the Knoxville Ice Bears. In this role, they were responsible for working within the American Development Model, National Team Development Program and Coaching Education Program.

Cole Burkhalter has a Master's degree in Sport Administration from Canisius College and a Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Management, Marketing Collateral from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Cole Burkhalter reports to Kevyn Adams, General Manager. Cole Burkhalter works with Jerry Forton - Director of Amateur Scouting, Adam Mair - Director of Player Development, and Les Bisson - Medical Director.
