Bikram Gupta Sarma

Bikram Gupta Sarma has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several technology and leadership roles.

Currently, Bikram serves as the Principal and Advisor at IBTA Global, where they work closely with technology leaders to transform their visions into successful outcomes.

Prior to this, Bikram held the position of Head of Product Programs and Operations at Bugcrowd, a company focused on cybersecurity.

From 2013 to 2021, Bikram worked at Actian as the Vice President of Product and Operations. In this capacity, they were a key member of Actian's leadership team and managed global teams involved in product development, operations, and management.

Before joining Actian, Bikram founded Straxium Corporation, a global strategy and innovation consulting company. At Straxium, they partnered with Stanford University and helped advance innovation and leadership competencies for US-based corporations.

Bikram also served as the Chief Operating Officer at SNRLabs Corp from 2009 to 2012, overseeing daily operations and contributing to the company's growth.

During their tenure at Oracle from 2000 to 2009, Bikram held various leadership positions. Bikram served as the Vice President of Global Center Operations, Customer Services, where they supervised Oracle's customer service centers across multiple countries. Additionally, they acted as the Vice President of Systems/Platform Engineering, responsible for systems engineering solutions and project management across multiple platforms.

In addition to their corporate roles, Bikram has also served as an advisor and mentor to various organizations from 2005 to 2009.

Prior to Oracle, Bikram was the Vice President of Technology at Ampersand Corp and a member of the Board of Directors at Ampersand India.

Bikram began their career at Oracle India in 1995 as a Director, where they were part of the startup team and played a significant role in the development and delivery of network computers and Oracle products.

Bikram Gupta Sarma has a diverse education history. Bikram started their education journey at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram from 1976 to 1980, although the specific degree or field of study during this period is not provided. Later, from 1980 to 1985, they attended Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During the same time at the institute, they also pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics.

In recent years, Bikram Gupta Sarma has continued their education through online courses at Harvard Business School. From 2017 to 2020, they completed certificate courses in various subjects such as Leading with Finance, Disruptive Strategy, Negotiation Mastery, and Business Analytics. More recently, in 2021, they enrolled in Harvard Business School Online again and is currently pursuing a Certificate of Specialization in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Alongside their formal education, Bikram Gupta Sarma has obtained several additional certifications. Bikram received the Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM) certification from Stanford University in September 2007. Bikram became a Certified Executive Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching in December 2020. Additionally, in November 2021, they obtained the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coaching Federation. Their most recent certification is as a Genos Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, which they obtained from Genos International in March 2022.
