Sellva M.

Sellva M. has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. They started their career as an Information Security Consultant at Qadit Systems & Solutions Pvt Ltd in August 2013 and worked there until June 2014.

Sellva M. then joined Freshdesk Inc. in October 2014 as a Security Engineer. In this role, they implemented a SIEM system and conducted vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for cloud environments. They left the company in August 2015.

After that, Sellva M. worked as a Lead Security Engineer at Ramco Systems from September 2015 to October 2017. They implemented various security measures such as OSSEC WAZUH and Maltrail for malicious traffic detection. They also performed vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security hardening for cloud and on-premise environments.

Sellva M. then joined BORN Group in October 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer IT Security, where they focused on cybersecurity and vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. They later became the Lead Cyber Security Engineer-VAPT and held that role until May 2021.

Sellva M. had a brief stint at Hack The Box in April 2018, where they worked as a CTF player. They then joined Bugcrowd in May 2015, where they worked as a Security Researcher.

Sellva M. joined Synack Red Team in December 2019 as a Security Researcher and is currently working there.

Most recently, Sellva M. joined Amber Innovations Limited as the Head of Information Security in June 2021 and was later promoted to the role of Chief Information Security Officer in April 2022.

Sellva M. began their education in 2004 at MHSS, where they earned their SSLC degree. Sellva then attended PSG College of Technology from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Networking. Sellva M. continued their studies at PSG College of Technology from 2008 to 2011, graduating with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology. Sellva further pursued their education at SRM University from 2011 to 2013, earning a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Information Security and computer forensics.

In addition to their formal education, Sellva M. has acquired several certifications. In 2012, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker C|EH V7 certification from the EC-Council. In 2015, they earned the Advanced Auditing for CSA STAR certification from BSI. Sellva M. obtained the Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP) certification from Offensive Security in 2017, followed by the eJPT certification from eLearnSecurity in the same year. In 2019, they achieved the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification. Their most recent certifications include the eWPT certification from eLearnSecurity in 2020 and the eWPTx certification, also from eLearnSecurity, in 2021.
