Damany Shaw, EIT, LEED

Damany Shaw is an EIT and LEED professional with a solid work history in the engineering and controls industry. Damany began their career at Hercules Heat Treating Corp as a Quality Control Engineer, where they worked from July 2007 to July 2010. Damany then moved to Designatronics Incorporated, where they served as an Application Engineer from August 2010 to June 2012. Following that, Shaw worked at ADE Systems Inc. as a Project Manager from June 2012 to August 2016. Damany then joined Johnson Controls as an Account Executive in August 2016 and held that position until August 2022. Currently, Shaw works at Building Controls & Solutions as an Account Manager, starting in July 2022. Throughout their career, Shaw has gained valuable experience and expertise in project management, quality control, and account management.

Damany Shaw, EIT, LEED, earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from Farmingdale State College from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from CUNY New York City College of Technology from 2005 to 2008. Damany also holds additional certifications, including LEED Green Associate from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), which they obtained in May 2015, and Engineer in Training from the New York State Education Department, which they obtained in July 2014.
