Mike Fogel

Mike Fogel, CPA has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Mike currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance at Building Material Distributors, Inc. (BMD, Inc.) since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Senior Director of Finance at Energy Foundation from September 2021 to May 2022.

From May 2021 to September 2021, Mike worked as the Interim Head of FP&A at JustAnswer. Before that, they held the position of Interim Vice President Finance at Tribeca Companies from December 2020 to May 2021.

From 2014 to 2020, Mike held multiple roles at NCR Corporation, including Executive Director, Corporate FP&A from January 2019 to November 2020, CFO and Senior Finance Director, Global SaaS Solutions from January 2017 to December 2018, and CFO and Finance Director, FinTech and SaaS from January 2014 to December 2016.

Prior to their work at NCR Corporation, Mike served as a Senior Finance Leader, FinTech and SaaS at Intuit from January 2013 to January 2014.

Mike's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at The Clorox Company, where they held the position of Senior Finance Manager from June 2004 to January 2013. Mike started their career at Underwriters Laboratories Inc. as an Assistant Controller - Global from April 1996 to February 2004.

Mike Fogel, CPA holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business. Mike also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Additionally, Mike has pursued further education in Cloud Computing and Subscription Models from Stanford Continuing Studies. Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications including the Financial Management Essentials Certificate from NonprofitReady and the Georgia Tech edX CS1301xII: Computing in Python I and II from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mike Fogel is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the California Board of Accountancy.
