Duncan Binger

Duncan Binger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Duncan started their career as a Full-Time Research Assistant at the University of Bristol, where they conducted research on computer simulations of liquid crystals on polymer substrates and managed the group's IT resources. Duncan then joined BearingPoint, working as a Manager for over 12 years. In this role, they contributed to several projects involving backend integration, enterprise search, mobile BI, and data management. Duncan also played a key technical lead role in projects using SAP, SIEBEL, and Office applications. Afterward, Duncan joined Schindler Group, where they held multiple roles. Duncan first served as the Head IoEE Platform for the Schindler Digital Group AG, responsible for the development of the Internet of Elevators and Escalators (IoEE) Platform, which formed the foundation for the Schindler Ahead Smart Urban Mobility Platform. Duncan had the opportunity to collaborate with prominent partners such as GE Digital, Huawei, Apple, and FogHorn. Duncan was also involved in speaking engagements and was featured on the Apple IT Talks podcast series. Additionally, they worked as a Team Leader for the Schindler Global Contact Center & Tele-Alarm/Tele-Monitoring. Currently, Duncan holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at BuildingMinds, where they are responsible for leading the company's technological strategies and initiatives.

Duncan Binger completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1989, they attended Sevenoaks School where they received an International Baccalaureate degree. Duncan then pursued a Joint Honours BSc degree in Mathematics and Physics at the University of Bristol from 1991 to 1993. Following this, Duncan obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from the same university, studying between 1993 and 1997. In 2011, they attended the Yale School of Management to complete a Leadership Management Class. In 2013, Duncan briefly studied at IT Academy Switzerland, although no specific degree or field of study is provided.
