Tobias Decker

Tobias Decker has extensive work experience in the real estate industry, primarily focused on developing innovative data platforms and solutions. Tobias is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at BuildingMinds, where they lead the development of a cutting-edge data platform designed for the real estate industry. Prior to this role, Tobias held the position of Director of Corporate Architecture at BuildingMinds, where they played a key role in defining the vision and mission for the data platform.

Before joining BuildingMinds, Tobias worked at SAP for over a decade, holding various roles including Head of LoB Real Estate, Product Owner, Program Manager, and Product Manager. In these roles, they led the development of groundbreaking SaaS analytics solutions and innovative digital products for the real estate industry. Tobias also worked as a Solution Architect, Project Manager, and Business Process Consultant, where they successfully implemented SAP applications for real estate and facility management businesses.

Throughout their career, Tobias has demonstrated their expertise in leveraging data-driven insights and innovative product design methodologies to revolutionize the real estate industry and empower customers to achieve greater sustainability performance and reduce their carbon footprint.

Tobias Decker obtained their Diploma in Civil Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended RWTH Aachen University for a year from 1994 to 1995, also studying Civil Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Tobias Decker holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) obtained from Scrum Alliance in April 2020.
