Daniel Vydra

Daniel Vydra is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Buildkite, a platform for running continuous integration pipelines. Daniel joined in January 2023. Previously, they worked at Redbubble as the CTO from October 2018 to January 2022, and as a Principal Engineer from July 2012 to October 2018. Daniel also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Cogent and Hooroo, a Senior Software Developer at Lonely Planet, and an Agile Software Team Leader at Guardian News & Media. Daniel started their career as a Java Developer at Red Bee Media, Business Analyst at Anite International Australia, Senior Analyst Programmer at Imceda Software, and Analyst Programmer at IBM Global Services.

Daniel Vydra attended the University of Melbourne from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained their Bachelor of Information Systems degree. During their time at the university, they focused on studying software development and business process reengineering.
