Theresa Neate

Theresa Neate currently serves as the Director of Engineering for Pipelines at Buildkite since February 2024, leading an engineering team focused on maintaining a vital platform for software teams. Previously, Theresa held the role of Head of Engineering at GROW Inc for a brief period and was the Head of Engineering/Director of Engineering at Xero, overseeing engineering excellence across a product portfolio in the fintech sector. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Slalom Build as Director of Quality Engineering, REA Group as Head of Quality Analysis Practice, and various roles in quality assurance and development at Australia Post, ThoughtWorks, and Medibank Private. Theresa's education includes a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security from RMIT University and a Diploma of Networking from Swinburne University, among others, highlighting a robust background in IT and quality assurance.
