Angelina Stoyanova

Angelina Stoyanova is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Payment Supervision Senior Expert at the Bulgarian National Bank since June 2022. With a strong background in risk management, regulatory compliance, and oversight of financial market infrastructures, Angelina plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to EU regulations and enhancing cybersecurity within payment systems. Prior to this, Angelina held various positions at ProCredit Bank (Bulgaria) from 2003 to 2022, culminating in the role of Head of Payments and Trade Finance, where responsibilities included workflow organization, task coordination, and enhancing operational efficiency. Angelina holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from Rakovski National Defence College, a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy.
