Mary Jo Pugh Ph.D.

Mary Jo Pugh PhD, RN, FAAN, FAES is currently a Research Career Scientist at VA Salt Lake City Health Care System and a Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Utah. Prior to their current roles, Mary Jo has held various positions such as Research Health Scientist at Veterans Health Administration, Professor at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, and Staff Nurse in the United States Air Force. Mary has a MA and PhD in Developmental Psychology from The Catholic University of America, a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Boston University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and a BA in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from The College of St. Scholastica.
