Alexander Koch

Alexander Koch serves as the Leiter des Instituts für Technische Produktentwicklung at Universität der Bundeswehr München Fakultät für Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik since January 2023. Previously, Alexander held various leadership positions at Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH from December 2011 to January 2023, including Director R&D global Competence Center Drivetrain, Director R&D, and Teamleiter Konstruktion/Entwicklung. Alexander also worked at Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Schienenfahrzeuge GmbH from December 2007 to November 2011, focusing on project and process management, and at Leopold Kostal GmbH & Co. KG from August 2005 to November 2007 as a project leader and product concept developer. Educational qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Konstruktionstechnik and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, along with a vocational qualification as a Facharbeiter in Werkzeugmechaniker Stanz- und Umformtechnik from Heinrich-Wieland-Schule Pforzheim.
