Maria Aleksandrova

Maria Aleksandrova has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Maria currently works at bunq as a Payment Operations Group Lead, where they are responsible for organizing the work environment, mentoring and training new joiners, and managing team meetings. Maria also serves as a Confidential Advisor, providing crisis intervention and addressing workplace integrity issues. Prior to joining bunq, Maria worked as a Payment Operations Specialist at bunq and gained experience in fraud and payments at Publix Ltd and Paysafe Group. Maria also has a background in psychology, working as a Psychologist and ABA Therapist at the Autism Today Association and as a Psychologist and Hypnotherapist in private practice. Maria's earlier experience includes roles in fraud prevention at DSK Bank, product consultation at Beiersdorf, HR assistance at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria, and lecturing in computer science at the Technology School Electronic Systems. Maria also worked as a marketing and distribution agent at SmartPoint.
